PONDLINERS PUMPS - PUMP INFORMATION AND GUARANTEE
The motor is completely insulated and surrounded in epoxy resin and is magnetically connected to the impeller. This ensures complete safety and reliability. The pump is easy to maintain and ensures longevity.
INSTALLATION
Pumps under 1000 litres per hour must be installed under water.
Pumps larger than P1000 can be installed either fully submersed in water or a pipe can be attached to the inlet and the pump can be installed externally. The pump must always be below the water level. The pump must not run dry under any circumstances.
LOW VOLTAGE PUMPS
Transformer must be under cover and must not get wet. If used in outside installation, transformer must be housed in an approved electrical box.
SAFETY
The installation should be protected by a safety switch and any outdoor installation must have an approved weatherproof socket
MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning of the filter (or straining inlet) and impeller is required. This is dependent on the location of the pond and the amount of dirt and leaves that may be drawn into the pump.
Running the pump without the strainer or filter may damage the impeller and this will not be covered by the guarantee.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the pump only once returned to us.
Any injury to person or property arising out of the use or inability to use the product is not covered under this warranty.
The Pondliners Pump is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a full twenty four (24) months from the purchase date. Proof of purchase is required. All guarantees are null and void if the above instructions are not adhered to.
NOT GUARANTEED
Pump has thermal protector cut out. It switches off in case of overheating. If pump is blocked with dirt, plastic bags, big leaves etc. or run dry, it will keep cutting in and out and eventually burn out.
Pump is not guaranteed against sudden voltage drop or power surge.
The warranty does not cover parts attached to the pumps, worn or broken impellers and filter sponges.
The warranty does not cover pumps that have had their plugs cut off or wires severed.
